On August 27, 2023, at Bonamelo Grounds, Obaba defeated Tshwaranang in a friendly match with a score of 4-0.

Match – Report

Our defenders absolutely sparkled this weekend, each bringing three goals to the scoreboard. Their fantastic performance will surely remain in our thoughts for a long time.

Bricks’ scored the team’s first goal in the tenth minute, marking his first appearance on the scoreboard for the team ever.

Sbusiso’s persistent performance was mirrored on the scoreboard once more as he added another goal to his tally.

Sbu returned the baton to the defenders after writing his name down.

Late in the game, Tshepo scored his second goal of the season, making the score three-nil.

Mbazo recorded his name with a goal to avoid falling behind in the scoring standings. He hadn’t scored in over 7 months, the previous occasion being in our 2-1 victory over Abangani Football Club.

The match was marked by the presence of a defender at every turn.

Ngwana was hosted by the striking department. Paul confidently held his position in the midfield.

The back five, which included makeshift goalkeeper Max, saw Sabelo Varo Motha come in after joining the team a few weeks ago. He played an excellent game.

Thabo returned to the team after missing the last match against Charmers Masters. Mphile, our great goal hero against Chamers, was inserted at the back, with Mbazo rounding out the back five.

Obaba played exciting football. Our Technical Team has brought something unique and intriguing to the table. This performance has the potential to and will undoubtedly strengthen the team. The team’s confidence is restored.

Max saved a penalty to ensure a clean sheet for the day. When he is not scoring goals, he is saving them. We are fortunate to have a player of his ability on our team. His performance won him Man of the Match for the second time in a row. It’s the first time a single player has gotten it twice, much alone twice in a row.

This was a game full of surprises, with defenders scoring and a striker saving a penalty. We are living in a fantastic epoch!

Please make plans to join us in our upcoming game against Bolo Football Club to experience this brilliance.
