Intense TRAINING IN PREPARATION FOR Meadowlands Academy August 12, 2023, THULANI BLOCK 11.
We need to be ready for the tough competition coming from Ndofaya, tomorrow at 10:30 Bonamelo. Coach Mduduzi Ta-Mdu Sithebe and his team displayed exceptional dedication during their training sessions, giving their all on the field as they put in the hard work.
We have faced Ndofaya three times already, and it was indeed a challenging experience. We had to deal with two nerve-wracking confrontations. Our team was able to secure a victory in the first game by scoring two goals, while our opponents only managed to score one.
However, the second game ended in a draw with both teams scoring only one goal each, which was a bit of a letdown.
We don’t need a reminder of our third match, as we lost by four goals to nil. Recently, our defence has been performing well, having only conceded four goals in the last four matches. Unfortunately, we did suffer a defeat with a score of 5-1 against Abangani.
But the good news is that Thamae Mbazo Matee has returned to our squad, and we can anticipate a substantial enhancement in our defensive skills.
Our performance has been outstanding lately, with a remarkable tally of eleven goals in our last five matches. Sibusiso Sbugazi Ngema has truly stood out, showcasing his exceptional skills by scoring numerous goals and contributing to the team’s success.
It seems that our team has performed better than Meadowlands Academy, as we have earned 10 points out of a possible 15, compared to their meager 7 points.
As of now, we have secured the 8th position with a commendable total of 45 points. It is worth noting that Meadowlands Academy is currently placed 10th, with a difference of just 5 points.
Securing a victory in this particular game is of utmost importance if we desire to ascend to the third position. At present, there is a three-point difference between our team and the one occupying that coveted spot, and it is absolutely imperative that we do not allow ourselves to slip behind.
While we must also keep an eye on the outcomes of other matches, our primary objective must be to emerge victorious in this game.
