In an incredibly thrilling match that saw a total of six goals being scored, Papa displayed an exceptional level of skill and determination. As a result of his impressive performance, he was rightfully recognized and awarded the highly prestigious title of Man of the Match. The team’s recent triumph provided a sense of redemption following their unfortunate loss to Diepkloof All-Stars in the Top 4 tournament the previous day. The game resulted in a 0-0 tie and went into penalties, where we unfortunately lost 5-4. It was surprising to see Sgubudu miss his penalty during the shootout.
Over the weekend, we faced a familiar challenge as our 10-match unbeaten streak was halted by a penalty shootout. But this time, we pushed through and emerged victorious in the next match. Our resilience and determination paid off, reminding us that with hard work and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle.
We have another opportunity to improve in less than a week during a big weekend. We will be participating in a Champ of Champs tournament and a league match. Our goal is to win all of the matches we have planned for both days of the weekend, which is a first for us this year.
This Sunday, we have a crucial game against Tinyiko. Winning it will catapult us to second place on the leaderboard for the first time. We expect our supporters to show up in full force for both events this weekend as we look forward to an exhilarating and unforgettable experience together!
