- Mzambiya Tournament Champions 🏆—The team displayed exceptional teamwork and determination to secure victory in the prestigious Mzambiya Tournament, proving their dominance in the knockout competition.
The 2024/25 Keep Fit Soccer League season was a defining chapter in Fathers Football Club’s history. Despite a squad built on resilience, tactical innovation, and attacking brilliance, the team struggled to deliver consistent performances, leading to results that often fell short of expectations.

Overall Team’s Performance:
Over the course of the season, the team played 71 matches, winning 34 (48%), drawing 17 (24%), and losing 20 (28%). We completed the league campaign in 7th place with 65 points from 38 matches, matching last season’s final standing but recording two fewer matches and a slight drop from 68 points. Our debut season proved even more challenging, with 42 matches yielding only 52 points, landing us in 15th position.
League’s Performance:
We finished the league in 7th place, securing 33 points away from home while managing only 29 points on home turf, a surprising trend, as teams typically perform better in familiar surroundings. Under normal circumstances, home advantage provides a boost through crowd support, reduced travel fatigue, and familiarity with the pitch conditions. However, our performance suggests an unusual pattern, warranting deeper analysis to identify the underlying factors behind this imbalance.
Tournament’s Performance:
One of the standout moments came at the start of the year, when we triumphed in the prestigious Mzambiya Top 8 Games. Furthermore, we earned a coveted spot in the Champ of Champs Qualifier—a testament to the team’s growing reputation.
However, inconsistency remained a persistent obstacle. This was most evident in the Top 4 Tournament, where we suffered a disappointing early exit, just after our exhilarating Mzambiya Games victory.
