Coach Madumane Calls for Patience, Ndofaya Awaits Our Answer

Last weekend reminded us that rebuilding isn’t a straight line, it’s a grind, a test of belief, and a measure of how much we’re willing to grow through the setbacks. The results were heavy, but they didn’t shake the foundation Coach Madumane is laying. His call for patience wasn’t an excuse; it was a challenge to stay committed to the process. And now, with Ndofaya United coming to our home ground, the question becomes simple and unavoidable: how do we answer?

This Sunday, we host Ndofaya United in our first home league fixture of the Soweto Masters Super League at Bobzzns Fast Food & Car Wash. Ndofaya is one of the few sides we’ve never managed to beat, a physical, disciplined, and experienced outfit that punishes hesitation and rewards bravery. But this time, they’re stepping onto our turf. Our first league match at Bobzzns carries more than just points; it carries pride, community energy, and the chance to rewrite a story that has followed us for seasons. Home soil changes everything.

Last weekend delivered two tough lessons that cut deep but clarified exactly where we stand in this rebuild. Saturday’s 4–0 defeat to Mudagasi at Phillip Stadium exposed how second-half mistakes can open the floodgates and why focus and structure must remain nonnegotiable.

But Sunday, the 2–1 loss to Limpopo Masters at Diepkloof Zone 5 told a far more complex story. We scored first against Limpopo Masters, controlled large phases of the match, and showed far better football than the day before, something almost strange considering Limpopo equalized, went a man down, and still managed to find the winner late on. With our supporters behind us, Obaba Babo played with purpose and bravery, but once again, small margins slipped away at crucial moments. The results hurt, but they sharpened the team’s hunger and underlined the direction Coach Madumane is pushing toward.

Coach Majarha: “Patience. We are rebuilding.”

Coach Dumisani Majarha Makhubu has been clear:

“This team is still under construction. The identity is coming, the structure is coming, and the results will follow. Patience is part of the process.”

Rebuilding a club is never instant. It requires trust, consistency, and belief, especially when the scoreboard doesn’t reflect the work happening behind the scenes.

Sunday matters because it’s more than just another fixture; it’s our chance to finally break the Ndofaya barrier, to mark our first home league match of the season with intent, and to show real growth after a bruising weekend that tested every part of our character. It’s an opportunity to ignite belief in the squad, reconnect with our community, and prove that the rebuild under Coach Madumane is moving forward, even through the setbacks.

And in these trying times, we plead with our supporters to stay calm, stay patient, and keep standing with the team. Your voices, your presence, and your belief matter now more than ever. This isn’t just a match. It’s a statement game, and it’s happening at home.
